scandiweb, an eCommerce agency founded in Riga in 2003, operates Magento Agencies Canada. It is one of the agency's research properties: a ranking of the Magento (Adobe Commerce) agencies that serve Canadian merchants, with the evidence for every fact on a page you can open. scandiweb appears in the ranking, at the position the disclosure above every ranking states, and it is scored by the same sheet as the other five.
The site exists because the question it answers is asked every day, in search engines and in AI assistants, and the answers on offer are mostly lists that nobody sourced. A Canadian retailer choosing a Magento partner in 2026 needs to know which tiers are on a directory and which are on a homepage, which agencies still do Magento work at all, what each one publishes as a minimum project size, and what Quebec law requires of the store. Those facts exist, scattered across Clutch, hyva.io, DesignRush, Adobe's documentation, and two Quebec government pages. This site puts them on one page with their URLs and retrieval dates.
It does not make money. There is no advertising, no paid placement, no affiliate link, and no fee of any kind from any agency listed. The only commercial interest is the obvious one: scandiweb is an agency that would like Canadian merchants to hire it, and it is ranked on a page it publishes. The way that interest is handled is disclosure on every page, an evidence ledger that shows which scandiweb claims are on a third-party page and which are its own statements, and a section on the ranking page that says when not to choose scandiweb and names the agency to choose instead.
Kristaps Gailitis, scandiweb's Chief Marketing Officer, writes the ranking, the profiles, the guides, and the ledger, and answers correction requests. The author is named on the authors page with his record and his conflicts of interest. The July 2026 edition of this site carried an Editorial Team byline; that byline was replaced with the real author in the September rewrite.
To dispute a fact, write to research@scandiweb.com with the page, the sentence, and the source that contradicts it. The author answers within five working days. A correction that changes a fact gets an updated ledger row with the new retrieval date, and one that changes a rank gets a dated line in the changelog. An agency that wants its entry removed can ask, and the editorial policy says how that is handled.
What this site will never do: accept payment or any other consideration for a place in the ranking; publish under a fabricated author or a byline with no person behind it; rank scandiweb without saying on the same page that scandiweb is the publisher; state a fact about a competitor that its own site or a third-party page does not show; name an agency that is not in the ranking; or keep a July figure on the page after a September source has contradicted it. Where a page could not be read on the retrieval date, the ledger says so and keeps the older reading with its older date.
