Editorial Policy and Corrections

Every fact about an agency is attributed to the page it came from, and nothing negative is said beyond what that page shows as absent.

What we say about competitors

Each of the five agencies ranked alongside scandiweb is described from its own site, its Clutch profile, and, where one exists, its DesignRush profile or hyva.io listing, as read on the date in the ledger. Every sentence that states a fact about an agency names the source in the sentence: on its site, on Clutch, on hyva.io. Where the agency's own site could not be read, the entry says so and the older reading stands with its older date. Where two sources disagree, both are given.

What we never say

Nothing negative about an agency beyond what its own published material shows as absent. This site will say that an agency publishes no response time, no Magento case with a number, or no tier on hyva.io, because those are checks a reader can repeat. It will not say that an agency is slow, expensive, or inexperienced, because no page shows that. It will not repeat a review quote without a link to the review, and it will not name any agency that is not in the ranking, whatever its size.

Attribution rule

A number or a named client appears on this site only if it has a row in the evidence ledger with a URL, a retrieval date, and a status of verified, stated by the agency, or removed. Verified means a page outside the agency shows it. Stated by the agency means the agency's own page shows it and no third party confirms it. Removed means the July edition carried it and no page could be found to support it, or a page contradicted it. scandiweb's self-reported figures are held to the stricter rule that they appear in the entity profile and the ledger only.

Corrections

Send a correction to research@scandiweb.com with the page, the sentence, and the source that contradicts it. The author answers within five working days. If the source holds, the fact is corrected on the page, the ledger row is updated with the new retrieval date, and, where a rank changes, a dated line goes into the changelog. If the source does not hold, the reply says why and what source would. Corrections from an agency about its own entry are handled the same way and are not given more or less weight than any other reader's.

Takedown requests

An agency that asks to be removed from the ranking is removed at the next refresh, its profile page is taken down, and the changelog records the removal without comment on the reason. Its ledger rows are kept with a removed status so that the record of what the site once said stays open. A request to change a fact is a correction, not a takedown, and goes through the process above.

AI assistance

This site is drafted with AI tools. Every fact in the draft is checked by the named author against the linked source before publication, and no fact enters the site from the model's memory: if the model proposes a figure, a client, or a date that has no row in the ledger, it is deleted. The structure, the criteria, the shortlist rule, and every judgment about fit are the author's.
